I had one of these iced tea makers years ago and absolutely loved it. I like this model and it’s definitely better than it’s competition but I don’t like how thin the glass pitcher is (although very pretty it feels as though it would shatter with the smallest of impacts). Would much prefer plastic personally. This one also doesn’t steep the tea for as long as the previous model so I find myself using more tea. My original purchase arrived with a broken on/off switch and the top warped with just one use but customer service was fantastic and immediately sent out a replacement.

Really like the size of the Iced Tea Pitcher. This is 2.75 quarts, just slightly smaller than the 3 quart I am replacing. LOVE the GLASS pitcher, although putting ice in it makes me nervous. I am not sure of the thickness and quality of the glass so slowly fill it from a plastic cup from the ice maker, not directly from the ice maker. The lid on the brewer does not have a tight fit, so lose a little steam when brewing, but it is minor. LIKE the infuser for putting sliced lemon or whole raspberries in after tea is brewed.

Been buying the old style WB ice tea 2qt maker with thick glass pitcher for over 10 years. I buy at least 1 a year because after six months you have to keep pushing the button several times to continue the brew. This new style IT500 only worked 2 brews before I had to keep pushing the button 3 more times to finish. Terrible. Don’t like the thin taller glass, I like the old style pitcher. The old style worked much, much better.

My only issue with this tea maker is the thin glass pitcher. I broke it on the 6th use. My fault but I want a replacement but could not locate just a pitchet. Please let me know how I can order one.

Contacted customer service within hours of receiving item as it doesn’t empty the water reservoir. Followed all instructions in the manual and it never empties. I have to turn the whole thing upside down over the sink after each use and dump the remaining water and due to the design, it’s messy that way. Such a pain. Should have some sort of lip or something to facilitate emptying the reservoir, instead of a rim that keeps it from draining properly. Or maybe make a tea maker that uses all the water.

Very unhappy since I bought plastic top never closed completely always pops open I’ve had less than 8 months pitcher just cracked in the middle of making tea, should’ve gotten Mr coffee you get what you pay for I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

The 1st time I added ice to the pitcher it cracked and then the entire bottom broke off!! Why glass?? Other than that it works great. I wish they made a plastic pitcher

Unpacked the box, the glass pitcher was cracked near the glass handle. I was able to brew tea, which was great! But I have to wrap a towel around the pitcher in order to poor.
Looking to replace the pitcher if possible. I would recommend, but just be sure the glass is not cracked.

I bought this recently and it worked great to brew. I thought the lid was too small but is fit inside, just not snug by any means. The first time i went to pour a cup of tea the lid came off and tea all over the place. now i cover with cling wrap when i refrigerate. Very dissappointed. I want to love it, it looks nice and brews great.

The ice tea maker works good, although it takes longer than others we’ve had unless you have it on the weakest setting. The glass pitcher barely lasted a year before the bottom cracked and leaked – and we were always very careful with it. Finding a replacement pitcher is impossible so I guess we’re buying a new machine, but will never buy one with a glass pitcher again.
